DRIVE IT LIKE YOU OWNED IT AT THE MAZDA DISPLAY TENT – AUGUST 13 – 16, 2009

In cooperation with Mazda, CXC Simulations will have one of its remarkable tri-screen Motion Pro II racing simulators on-line and available for breathtaking simulation test drives at the 36th running of the legendary Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races. The simulator will be “pitted” in the Mazda display tent at Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca for the full race weekend.

All weekend long, visitors will be able to strap into the experience of driving a Star Mazda or Skip Barber 2000 open wheel Formula 1 car on the world-famous Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca from the racing seat of the CXC Motion Pro II simulator, which, said AutoWeek, “Might just be the best motor racing simulator in the world.”

On-hand professional driving instructors will help to hone the skills of racing participants as they crest Mazda Raceway’s blind, flat-out turn one or plunge down through the notorious “corkscrew” with iRacing’s laser-accurate simulation software – taken to the max in the ultra-realistic CXC Motion Pro II racing simulator.

“We’re very proud to be associated with Mazda and one of the most varied and successful racing programs today,” said CXC Simulations principal Chris Considine. “This is a great opportunity for us to show a lot of real enthusiasts what we have. I know they’re going to be surprised with the realism of our racing simulator.”

With factory-assisted racing teams in three series, four Mazda-exclusive professional series and 9,000 club racers, Mazda is the most road-raced car in the U.S. North America.

Headquartered in Marina del Rey, California, CXC Simulations was formed specifically to manufacture a professional-level racing simulator that was not only suitable for pro drivers and race teams, but practical for home use. Developed with professional drivers and engineers over a period of two years, the result was the CXC Motion Pro II Simulator, about which AutoWeek said, “might just be the best racing simulator in the world.”

The CXC Motion Pro II racing simulator is carefully assembled from aluminum, laser-cut steel and carbon fiber, the same materials as race cars. Powered by a purpose-built rack-mounted simulation computer, it is compatible with all major commercial and online racing software options and users may choose from a nearly inexhaustible and ever-increasing list of modern or vintage cars to drive, including F1, GT, NASCAR, sports cars, off-road, open-wheel and rally (even race boats) and tracks around the world to race on. Yet the precise implementation and interpretation of that racing software is what separates the MP II from other simulators; the exact timing, intensity and accuracy of its proprietary full-motion system, tactile transducers and force-feedback controls, together with 5.1 surround sound and a 1080p high-definition video display. Trusted by professional racers and loved by home simulator users, the CXC Motion Pro II provides the ultimate driving simulator experience.
