The crown jewel of Australian Motorsport, The Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, comes to us on February 6th, 2015. Patrick Long, Matt Halliday, and David Calvert-Jones, three racers who will be competing in the GT endurance race at Mount Panorama, all practiced together in a Bathurst simulation at CXC Simulations. On one of the most difficult tracks in the world, with notably close walls and blind corners, it is necessary to know the breaking points, apex, and exiting point for all of the turns. Even for a pro-driver, when faced with a new scenario or on a new race track it is always important to bring down the apprehension, along with preparing for the amount of endurance and mental training that goes into being ready for a high-stake competition like Bathurst – all of which a high grade simulator helps with.
