For ten days in August, admirers of cars and racing vehicles assemble along the Monterey Peninsula of California for a glimpse of the most attractive automobiles in history. Known by professional racing teams and car enthusiasts alike, CXC Simulations and their team participated in three big events this past summer and partnered with no less than Aston Martin, The Quail and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Gathering.
On August 17th, 2012 CXC Simulations joined forces with Aston Martin Private Estate, one of the most exquisite private properties in the U.S., for the second year in a row during Monterey Auto Week with two of their Motion Pro II Professional Racing Simulators. Aston Martin extended invitations to their guests to witness the unveiling of their new Vanquish model, while also getting a chance to sit behind the wheel of the new luxury vehicle. Guests who missed out on test-driving the new Vanquish, or any one of the many Aston Martin vehicles on-site, had the opportunity of driving in one of CXC’s Motion Pro II Racing Simulators instead. CXC provided two MP II Simulators at the Estate which were raced head-to-head with Aston Martin’s own AMR-One racing model. But this isn’t the only place where CXC has made a big splash with guests!
CXC Simulations partners with The Quail – a Motorsports Gathering and its charities
Also located on the Monterey Peninsula of California, CXC Simulations had the good fortune to be a guest partner with The Quail – a Motorsports Gathering. On August 17, 2012 guests flocked to the Quail Lodge to marvel at the unique vintage automobiles on display and to get a chance to test on the Lodge’s own tarmac. Countless others enjoyed the thrill of being behind the wheel of virtually any racing model, from Formula One and NASCAR to vintage and off-road vehicles, while seated in the CXC Motion Pro II. While using the CXC Motion Pro II guests and patrons not only had fun, but also raised over $5,000 in proceeds for CASA of Monterey County, Rancho Cielo, American Red Cross-Monterey Bay Area Chapter, Naval Postgraduate Foundation and the 11-99 Foundation.

From August 16-19, 2012 devotees of the modern automobile from across the globe attended the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Amongst the 550 vehicles competing in what is known as the world’s premiere motoring event, CXC Simulations and its Motion Pro II Professional Racing Simulator made an appearance as a special guest of one of the drivers. Down in the pit, the driver and his team used the Motion Pro II to not only train and get a leg-up for the upcoming race weekend, but also invited family and friends for a chance to get behind the wheel on a simulated version of the famed Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
